We hope to equip you and help you to move here and take the One Year Challenge and perhaps stay even longer if it be God's will!  Here are some suggested steps to take to be successful in taking the one year challenge in Portland, Maine.

We are hoping that everyone can move by August 19th as we are beginning our training program that week (Ministry Training Info) and having our Acadia National Park Retreat the following weekend August 24th-26th.

As you make your decision here are 7 Suggestions:

#1.  Pray to God and dream of if Portland the place for you. Think about your dreams and aspirations and don't let obstacles stand in your way.  See and click on videos below for more information.

#2.  Talk to your ministry leader or trusted disciple and get advice.  God blesses the man or woman who get and take advice.  (Pr 19:20 & 12:15)

#3.  Call us at:  207-619-4095 or email us at MaineMission@gmail.com, this way we can talk specifically about how and when you can come.  The ministry leaders are Glenn & Danielle Petruzzi and would love to speak on Skype.  By going to www.skype.com

#4.  Read the Ministry Training Plan and Goals for One Year Challenge Participants and the church we have planned.

#5.  Get Practical and Try to Figure out Work or Schooling

#6. Don't let any obstacle stop you if you feel called by God.  We have a whole spiritual family that wants to help you be successful in moving to Portland.  God promises that the righteous will never go hungry (Psalm 37:25).  He also promises that we should not worry if we are seeking his kingdom first (Matthew 6:25-33).

#7. Finally make a decision.  And communicate it to the ministry leader.  We believe God has lead you here because he has a plan.  Go out on faith and realize that he is with you always when you make disciples and so is the family of God.

Thank you and may God bless you and your faith for considering being on the Portland Maine Mission Team.
